APImetrics may also collect anonymous information, which is not unique to you when not combined with Personal Information, such as your postal code, age, gender, preferences, interests and API Tool settings (“Non-Personal Information”) (collectively, Personal Information and Non-Personal Information is “Information”). APImetrics reserves the right to delete any Information at any time, without notice to you.Information about your computer hardware and software also may be automatically collected by APImetrics. This Information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This Information is used by APImetrics for the operation of the API Tool, to maintain quality of the API Tool, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the API Tool.For quality assurance purposes, and in order to deliver the Services, APImetrics and its representatives will have access to the data within your account.APImetrics may provide you the opportunity to pay subscription fees or other payments through the Site. APImetrics contracts with third-party service providers for payment services (the “Payment Providers”). APImetrics does not collect or store your credit card information in connection with these transactions. By using the online payment option, you provide your information directly to the Payment Providers, and are subject to their privacy policies and terms and conditions. If you have questions regarding your transaction, please review the Payment Providers’ polices and terms or contact them directly. APImetrics is not responsible for the actions of the Payment Providers, including their use or disclosure of Personal Information.
APImetrics encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from the API Tool so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your Information. APImetrics and its representatives are not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the API Tool.
USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
APImetrics collects and uses your Information to operate the API Tool, to deliver and support the Services you have requested, and to perform analysis related to the API Tool. APImetrics will send you one or more emails during the registration process to confirm your email address and your acceptance of the terms governing your use of the API Tool. We will also periodically send service updates to registered users. APImetrics and its representatives may use your Personal Information to inform you of other offers, support, products or services available from APImetrics and its affiliates. APImetrics may also contact you to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. APImetrics and its representatives do not sell, rent, or lease Personal Information to third parties. APImetrics and its representatives may share your Non-Personal Information with third parties to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, and to provide customer support. APImetrics and its representatives may share your Information with third parties to perform tasks required to complete a transaction. APImetrics may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. For example, if you personalize API Tool pages, or register with the API Tool, a cookie helps the API Tool to recall your specific Information on subsequent visits. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the API Tool. The API Tool does not respond to Do Not Track settings.
DATA RIGHTS AND SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
Identifying Personal Information will not be made available at any time to any other Subscriber subscribing to the API Tool, unless you choose to share such information publically.
In an effort to provide value to all Subscribers, APImetrics and certain third parties it contracts with maintain the right to use and present Non-Personal Information in an aggregated form reflecting combined data from multiple Subscribers for statistical reporting purposes only. Information collected by APImetrics may be used for the purpose of identifying industry benchmarks, trends, and evaluating how to improve the Service for the benefit of all Subscribers. Presentation of aggregated Non-Personal Information will not reveal data that links to identifying Personal Information for any Subscriber.
CHILDREN UNDER THIRTEEN
APImetrics does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use the API Tool.
