Therefore, Facebook is now functioning as a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc., and both enterprises are possessed and managed by Mark Zuckerberg.

The company has increased its offerings by adding Facebook Messenger, Facebook Watch, and Facebook Marketplace.
